There was an interesting article about the rarity of annulment that ran yesterday in the News & Observer.  Getting an annulment seems easy watching Britney Spears and Renee Zellweger end their marriage shortly after saying ‘I do’. But for everyday people, annulment is rare.

In North Carolina, annulments are granted only under very limited circumstances. Here’s a link to Rosen Law Firm’s website where it explains under what cirucmstances an annulment would be given.
