Divorce and Women’s Health

In a previous entry I wrote about how divorce increases heart disease for women but not men. Now Iowa State University reveals after a 10 year research project that divorced women reported having 37% more physical illnesses than women who remain married. Women can likely avoid the financial and emotional stress of a divorce through other alternatives such as mediation and reduce the physical effects divorce has on their bodies.
